As part of Gang Show we have wide variety of talent that is needed to fill many positions.

Assistant Choreographer

Are you a dancer or former dancer with imagination and patience?

Are you interested in working with youth from across the Scouting and Guiding movements?

Are you either experienced in or keen to learn how to work with large groups (20+)?

We are looking for the right person to join our team as the assistant choreo for the 2025 show and 2024 Performing Arts Camp.

 If you think you're the right person for the job (see attached description), get in touch with us! Tell us a bit about you, why you're interested, and the skills or experience you would bring to the role.

Set Designer

Hutt Valley Gang Show is looking for a set designer!

The show will be held at Lower Hutt Little Theatre in August 2025 and comprises of a cast of 70 members of Scouts and GirlGuiding NZ. We have our own dedicated workshop where we build our set and store our props. All of our production team are volunteers, this role is UNPAID.

We are looking for someone creative, who can blend a variety of ideas to come up with a workable set for the show. The main points of contact will be the director (me!) and the workshop team, which may include youth members of the Scouting and Guiding movements. If you are open to including youth in the design process, we would love to get some kids involved and get their ideas on stage too.
