As part of Gang Show we have wide variety of talent that is needed to fill many positions.

Apprentice Drama Director Wanted!
We are looking for 1-2 young people to join our drama team as Apprentice Drama Directors!
The drama team is responsible for the acting and speaking portions of the show, making sure our cast tells the story clearly for the audience. Our team currently consists of Jess (Director), Lauren (Assistant Drama Director) and Kylie (Prompt).
We are looking for people aged 15-25 to join our team, teach and direct our young actors, and learn the art of directing a production. Directing knowledge is not required, but having some experience onstage is preferred.
Please note that members of the production team are not able to be in the cast.

We will want to talk with you online or face to face as part of the process of joining the team.
You will be required during the rehearsal and show period (27 April-23 August, largely Sundays with some full weekend events). You do not need to be available for every rehearsal.
Apprentice Choreographers Needed
Are you 15-25 years old and ready for a new challenge? The Hutt Valley Gang Show are looking for Youth Members of all genders within Scouting and Guiding who want to develop their leadership skills by helping us teach the dance and movement elements for the 2025 Show.
You will:
- be comfortable and confident moving your body (dance experience not required)
- be excited about helping others to learn
- want to learn about how shows are developed and run, and how to lead large groups.

We will want to talk with you online or face to face as part of the process of joining the team. We are looking for up to 6 Youth Members to join our team so that we can cover the auditions (15-16 March) and the rehearsal and show period (27 April-23 August, largely Sundays with some full weekend events). You do not need to be available for every rehearsal.
About the show: the Hutt Valley Gang Show is an original musical theatre production put on every two years, and typically has around 75 Scouts and Guides in the cast ages 10 and up. The 2025 Show is being directed by Jess Handley. The Choreographer is Amy Mackiewicz, with Alyssa Buchanan as our Assistant Choreographer. Note that members of the production team are not able to be in the cast.
