A Gang Show is a theatrical production produced and performed by members of the Scout and Girl Guiding Movements.

The Hutt Valley Gang Show is performed every two years at the Little Theatre, Lower Hutt, Wellington. While it is called the “Hutt Valley” Show (because it is performed in Lower Hutt), HVGS is a production put on collaboratively by the Rimutaka, Lower Hutt, Wellington and Kapiti Coastal Zones of Scouts New Zealand. Members of Scouts NZ and Girl Guiding NZ from throughout the greater Wellington region are eligible to be part of the Show.
Our next Show is HVGS 2018 which will be performed from Monday 3 to Saturday 8 September 2018 at the Lower Hutt Little Theatre, Queens Drive, Lower Hutt.
The next Hutt Valley Gang Show Performing Arts Camp will be held in September 2017.

Tony Dale was actively involved in scouting for over 30 years, 11 Gang Shows in Kapiti and Hutt Valley and was National Gang Show Advisor. Scouting and the Performing Arts were two of his passions. When he died suddenly in April 2015 his family and friends set up the Tony Dale Performing Arts Fund to encourage and inspire a love of theatre, to help people develop skills in the performing arts.
